OKAY so I saw this a few days ago and was like “whatever” but then I smashed my phone in a car door, had to clean up some dead baby bunnies in my yard, and have just generally NOT had a good week. I’m fucking spooked and I’m reblogging this twice to get the universe to stop.

I ignored this too and then i got kicked out of my house. Also reblogging twice.

Oh fuck that

Shirley Slade, WWII WASP pilot of B-26 and B-39.

In 1942, the United States was faced with a severe shortage of pilots, so an experimental program to replace males with female pilots was created. The group of female pilots was called the Women Airforce Service Pilots — WASP for short. Shirley Slade was one of about 1,100 chosen. She was trained to fly the B-26 and B-39, and that got her put on the cover of Life magazine in 1943 at about 23 years old.

The Chiron Signs

Chiron is an asteroid that is named after a centaur in Greek mythology who could not heal himself, but healed others due to his experience with pain and suffering. This placement indicates where an individual is wounded or hurt, how they can overcome this, and how they can heal others.

Chiron in Aries: The wound is related to the individual’s self-image and confidence. This individual will have issues standing up for themselves because they feel weak and insignificant. An Aries Chiron will in turn, try to create a tough and insensitive exterior to hide their pain, though most people can see through the shield they hide themselves in. It is unbelievable how much they have gone through and they will never truly heal. They do, however, have the ability to encourage confidence, will-power, and assertion in others.

Chiron in Taurus: The wound is related to the individual’s sense of comfort and security. This individual may have felt neglected or have had important people or possessions disappear from their life creating a deep impact in their heart. Holding onto their pain is the only way they can fill in what’s missing in their life, so they are slow at healing from their wounds. In time, they will realize how fulfilling it will be to finally let go of their past and fill their heart with compassion and love. They heal others by showing them the importance of finding value and worth in themselves.

Chiron in Gemini: The wound is related to the individual’s communication skills and self-expression. This individual will have problems communicating in a conventional way, possibly due to speech impediments, social anxiety, or other forms of an inability to communicate properly. They will also have trouble expressing themselves in a way that others will understand.

Because of their faults, they feel as though they are ignorant or uneducated. They will begin to heal when they realize their form of communication is unlike anyone else’s and this makes them special and unique. They can think of things no one else can and can speak/write in eccentric and captivating ways. They heal others by helping them find their voice and their creative expression.

Chiron in Cancer: The wound is related to the individual’s sense of self love and nourishment. This individual has likely undergone neglect or abuse in their early life, influencing them to feel insecure, emotional, and needy. They latch onto others like parasites, trying to suck out any form of love and care that they can. They can end up manipulating others just to get a reaction out of them because they need to feel like other people care.

They will often take for granted the people that show them love and affection without realizing. They will heal when they learn to love and accept themselves. For you cannot truly cherish the love given to you until you fully learn to love yourself. These individuals will shed their negative behaviors and opt for becoming loving, motherly, and devoted to all people. They will help heal others by teaching them to love and cherish themselves.

Chiron in Leo: The would is related to the individual’s ego and creative expression. This individual will either fear expressing their abilities or will try too hard to receive recognition and attention for their abilities, but they will definitely feel that they lack creativity and imagination and that they are not special or gifted. They feel that they are not welcomed or liked by anyone, as they feel worthless and annoying. They will begin to heal when they find the courage to truly be themselves and embrace it. They can heal and help others by encouraging them to be themselves and to not be afraid to stand out and express their talents.

Chiron in Virgo: The would is related to the individual’s worth. This individual will inherently feel as though something is wrong with them. They will feel incomplete, messy, and unclean. They will assume they cannot be fixed, whatever their issues are. Most with this placement have some form of nervousness or anxiety, especially involving themselves and their physical body.

They are so bound on being perfect that it can be to such an extreme that it is damaging to themselves. They will find healing when they learn that helping and serving others to love themselves and give love back to them eventually makes them feel complete. They have the ability to improve the lives of others due to their generosity and resourcefulness.

Chiron in Libra: The wound is relating to the individual’s relationships and sense of balance or harmony. This individual will experience issues in their platonic and romantic relationships in one of these ways: due to their insensitivity and manipulation tactics or because of their inability to handle conflict and confrontations. For the later, they are prone to experiencing abusive or toxic relationships often because they are a passive and vulnerable target.

These types are far too afraid of being alone and either behavior manifests because of this fear. If they are imbalanced as a person, they can acquire an assertive and toxic behavior onto others and this is due to that fear. They will find healing when they learn to compromise with others or avoid and end unhealthy relationships by learning to love themselves. This will usually occur from outside support. They can heal others by helping them nurture and love themselves.

Chiron in Scorpio: The would is related to the individual’s self-worth, sexuality, and perception of death and transformation. The individual will experience intense mood swings and catastrophic feelings, deep paranoia and anxiety in particular. They will have gone through some form of psychological trauma or abuse that causes them to become overly protective of themselves, their belongings, and their loved ones.

Deep inside of them, they harbor feelings of misery and guilt, even if they have not done anything wrong, leading them to self-destructive behaviors. They are on a journey to understand the meaning of life, transformation, and death. They will heal begin to heal when they learn to turn their pain into strength and beauty. They will possess the ability to heal others by teaching them that transformation and renewal is necessary to lead a healthy life.

Chiron in Sagittarius: The wound is related to the individual’s beliefs, morals, and values. This individual may express different opinions, beliefs, or personal values than that of their family or community, such as having a different religion, sexual orientation, or means of thinking/self expression. Because of their unconventional beliefs, they can feel as though there is something wrong with them, that their perspectives, values, and the way that they are deems them as worthless, meaningless, and misunderstood.

They will attempt to try and get their loved ones to understand them and likely will not receive a good outcome. This will lead them to believe they don’t see the world as everyone else and therefore cannot make sense of it. They will heal when they realize that there is nothing wrong with them and their “differences” are what make them who they are. Those who do not accept them should not be involved in their lives. They can heal others by teaching them the value of thinking for themselves.

Chiron in Capricorn: The wound is related to the individual’s need for stability and control, as well as their sense of trust and status/reputation. This individual will feel as though they are unappreciated and unrecognized for the things they do. They genuinely believe they are doomed to a life of chaos and unpredictability, influencing them to feel the need to take control of every situation. They feel very much that they are not as in control as they need to be and they tend to blame themselves when things go wrong, thinking they could have prevented it.

They over exert themselves and put so much pressure on themselves in an attempt to gain a reputable status, but their inability to trust others can cause issues in gaining a successful reputation. They will heal when they realize that it is not everyone else who does not value their hard work and devotion, it’s themselves. They must learn to appreciate and value themselves. They will have the ability to heal others through offering guidance and discipline in areas they need these traits.

Chiron in Aquarius: The wound is related to the individual’s sense of feeling accepted and welcomed in society. The individual will feel rejected and isolated due to their differences and eccentricities. They will have difficulties fitting into society and will therefore feel like there is something wrong or off with them. This person will feel all alone even if they have friends. They may not be able to fully connect with others out of fear they will be seen as weird.

They will begin to heal when they realize their differences are what make them unique and they can act as a trendsetter and revolutionary mind to lead society to bigger and better things. They possess the ability to show compassion and heal humanity with their generosity and individuality. They will heal others by supporting and encouraging them to be different and to be brave.

Chiron in Pisces: The wound is related to the individual’s sense of faith in themselves and in humanity. The individual will naturally feel victimized and betrayed from the moment they gain a realization that they are alive. They see the world as cruel and unfair with all of its poverty, hate, and violence. They are prone to developing cynicism, resentment, and a lack of trust in others and in religion or spirituality. They may have a hard time connecting with others because they expect betrayal and cruelty will eventually occur.

They will heal when they begin to realize that the hate in our society is due to restrictions and fears set upon humanity - which does not really matter in the long run. They will learn that the universe is vast and that they are alive for a reason. Compassion, sympathy, and understanding will wash over them and change their entire perspective. They will be able to heal others through teaching them the true meaning of life.

It is our duty as feminists to protect and respect women in Hijabs

Now. More. Than. Ever.

Question: if I see someone pull off a Hijab, what should I do? I know there are reasons they are worn so I want to if i should stand in between them and who did this, should i protect them from view somehow, or something else? This has been happening a lot so I feel it’s something everyone needs to know.

Good question! I cannot correctly and effectively answer, as I am a white, non-Muslim person; however, I will reblog in case any of my followers can answer.

I asked my Hijabi friend, so here’s one Hijabi’s answer:

“my opinion is, definitely try cover them or give them something to cover themselves with. And perhaps shoo off the person, without putting oneself in danger! God forbid, if that happened to me, I would like someone to come and comfort me and give me something to cover my hair with and then help me report it to the cops “

(Followers, if any of you are hijabi and would like to expand on this answer or offer alternatives, please do.)

If u see it happen to 1 of us, pls cover our head + hair with a coat or shawl or any piece of cloth, while hugging us in comfort. Please don’t get hurt by lashing out @ the perpetrators in any way, coz if they dare to do that, they’re probably too far gone in their own hatred to listen to any reason. Much love + Thank You to anyone who supports us.

yes !! everything said here is important af. if you see someone pull off a girl’s hijab immediately cover her hair and provide comfort. don’t talk to the perpetrator but try to get the woman out of there if you can. maybe if you have a scarf on you at the time give it to her so she can wear it until she’s alone and can replace her hijab. please please protect muslim girls because we already had it hard before donald trump became president and now its gonna be worse with people going around thinking their violence and cruelty is justified

for my other white ppl who might have a hard time, it’s my understanding that a hijab is like a major item of clothing, not an accessory like a hat or a scarf.
so think abt it more like if someone just ripped someone’s shirt or skirt off. u don’t want to be left there exposed or have to walk home without it.

everyone, even outside America needs to protect our Muslim sisters in these times.

as a man, what would be the best thing to do? should i turn my head and avoid looking at their hair? can i still offer a jacket or something similar?

^I’m hoping someone has an answer islamaphpbia is on the rise in my town and I want to be a good male non Muslim ally

For men, yes please, we would prefer it if you avoided looking at our hair, and if we don’t have something to substitute as a hijab at that moment, anything you could lend us, a jacket, etc, would be very appreciated.

Also, since most girls avoid physical contact with men they’re not related to, please do not hug them, but rather shoo the offender away if you can, or at least escort the girl to a safe place. You can still offer words of encouragement and support. Furthermore, understand that the victim may not be very welcoming towards you because she’ll obviously be shaken, and won’t know where you are coming from. If that’s the case, please still give her something to cover herself (hijab is very important, think of it as someone ripping your shirt off) and stand some distance away until you are sure she’s in safe hands.

Thank you so much for your support, we really appreciate it, god bless all of you.

In the horrible climate we’re currently in, please take note of this.

Reblogging this again for the guy-instructions

Just found out my ex has a girlfriend tag video up, so I watched it. And it reminded me of how awful and abusive she was.

Like damn I can’t believe I ever let someone treat me how she did.

Don’t ever ever ever tolerate someone who makes you feel like you are not worthy of love. Because you are okay??

Be with someone who tries to understand your side when you’re mad and doesn’t just tell you that you’re being crazy. Be with someone who never hides anything from you, because they have nothing to hide. Be with someone who wants to introduce you to their friends and family. Be with someone who not only gets your dreams, but wants to help you achieve them. Be with someone who makes you feel like you are worth the whole universe!!!!
